Muslim population worldwide grows: nearly 1 in 4 people practise Islam, study says - Telegraph : "“This whole idea that Muslims are Arabs and Arabs are Muslims is really just obliterated by this report,” said Amaney Jamal, an assistant professor of politics at Princeton University."

It is the month of Ramadan. The holiest month in the islamic calendar. The most prominent act during this month is that muslims around the world fast from the the first call all prayer at the break of day to the fourth prayer at the setting of the sun. Ramadan is overall a month where the believer gets closer to the almightly through acts of charity, reading quran, prayer and overall focusing on bringing a better spiritual quality to ones life. Well all these can also be done in all the other months, but these acts are intensified during the holy month. It is said that the doors of hell are closed during the month of Ramadan.
