Punch the keys

Blackberry, iPhone and Android. A few months back I got to handle the  Blackberry Bold ,  Motorola Milestone  and the iPhone 3GS on the same day, thanks to my bro-in-law visiting us. I had been wanting to put in this blog since, but never worked out. Anyways, the experience was superb. I am used to Android on my Samsung Galaxy 3 mobile and had used a Blackberry 8700 couple of years earlier. But I was always interested in the iPhone's usability and wanted to have a go at it. The Bold was way ahead of the 8700 that I had used. So were the specs of the Milestone from my own Galaxy. Getting to play around with three of the leading mobile platforms was cool. The best thing was that I got to try out all the three different mobile versions simultaneously. I really liked all the three models. Loved Blackberry's keypad and the typing experience best of the three. iPhone's fluid feel and superb touch experience. I liked it better than Android's for the sheer experience. ...

Yesterday I got the below message from Tata Photon about my internet connection.. Dear Photoner! Balance on your Tata Photon+ No: < my number here > as on 24/11/2010 -Avbl. Bal: Infinity MB, valid till 15/12/10.Now also recharge online at www.ichoos# Obviously they made an error. But just imagine if I would have a balance of infinity MB. Wouldn't that be simply wonderful ;)

I had been looking to take screenshots on my android for some time now. But couldn't find a way out without rooting the phone. So it was great to find another way, although a round about one. It suited me because I already had the java and android sdk in place on my work laptop. Yes, its a work around. And you can read about it here . Have also read that the next version of android, i.e 2.2 froyo, is supposed to have built in support with key combination press. Don't know how much of it is true.

There is an explosion of cameras. What with all the mobile phones having these built in. All around, even if it is shopping malls, theaters, roads anywhere you go you see camera's clicking :) I remember a time when people with camera were much sought after in school or college trips and functions. Now a days its video clips and 5 MB minimum camera with anyone around. Looking for mobiles without camera? Best of luck! There are so few mobiles (other than of course the base models) that come without camera. Look for a phone without cam but with mp3 feature and you know what I am taking of. There was only M600 a year back which was of this category. I don't see any models coming up too. It just is not business sense I guess when people are looking out for mobiles with higher MB camera's. One more reason, to keep your smile on always. Don't know which camera is clicking you.
